DIRECTOR VACANCIES: North Highland Regeneration Fund wish to appoint Non-Executive Directors Published on 10^th June 2020

North Highland Regeneration Fund offers real help to real businesses in the Dounreay travel to work area by providing loan funding. Set up by the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority in 2006 to counteract the effects of the rundown of the Dounreay nuclear site, the fund also provides practical advice and support to help local businesses plan and achieve their goals.

We are seeking applications from enthusiastic individuals with the relevant skills and experience and have a preference for inviting candidates with the following attributes:

• Strong understanding of the key issues faced by start-up businesses and SMEs in securing capital to fund growth plans
• Strong understanding of economic development and the specific issues affecting the Caithness and North Sutherland area

This position is voluntary with a commitment of 5-10 days per year required and is open to anybody with business experience who does not have a relationship with NHRF.
